THEO-MASS TIMES / THE ULTIMATE ACCEPTANCE EPISODE - OUT 2 NOVEMBER 2012

THEO-MASS TIMES / THE ULTIMATE ACCEPTANCE  - OUT 2 | NOVEMBER | 2012
The first ever reality based comic book - Episode 5 / Chapter 2
COVER 1 OUT OF 2: Theo-Mass photographed by Stelios Kallinikou, headpiece by Rein Vollenga / shirt & Jacket by Givenchy.
Starting from the image of Theo-Mass Times, we have collaborated with Spanish graphic designer Hector Carrillo Aspano who redesigned the cover of the specific issue giving him a strong identity based on the concept of the current episode. We asked editor, author and art director John-Paul Pryor to tell us more about his early steps at Dazed & Confused, his collaboration with Theo-Mass, his debut novel Spectacles and his upcoming projects and future plans. We discussed with director Francisco Salvado his aims for the future and the ways in which the rapid development of technology and social networking affected his work and the fashion industry. Moreover, we team up with artists Patrick Ian Hartley, Rein Vollenga and the design duo VOID OF COURSE for this issue’s shoot - we mix their extraordinary headpieces and masks with pieces by Givenchy, Mugler and Comme des Garcons to create a totally new Theo-Mass look captured by photographer Stelios Kallinikou. We collaborated with menswear designer Alex Mattsson for the creation of an exclusive Theo-Mass outfit and mask, and we present his early sketches. We have created a colourful story where we collaborated with artist Andreas M. Georgiou who intervened on Theo-Mass’s face to create living masks. And last but not least Theo-Mass sits down with fashion journalist Filep Motwary to discuss all about The Ultimate Acceptance episode. All these and much more printed in 64 loose pages for you to stick on your wall! Theo-Mass Times will officially launch at LAB. Bar in Limassol / Cyprus in an exclusive party on the 2nd of November supported by the CYPRUS CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM and BELVEDERE VODKA. Stay tuned for details…
